Let's Build Lego SW Set 75005 Rancor Pit Pt. 7

Image
I used to talk and do an active demonstration for these videos.  I'm trying something new, partially to make the videos shorter.  I'm taking still pictures instead. This is the Lego Star Wars Rancor Pit, set 75005.  It is a companion to set 9516--Jabba's Palace.  Jabba's Palace connects to this part. I've already done videos on building Jabba's Palace.  To see my prior videos, go to my Lego playlist here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLLdcCbWTBhko6oOPKPdauase3YzGNUXYB

Video Lesson of Florida Driver's Manual Lesson 7 & Quiz

My mom joked and said how this lesson would be shorter if it told you where you could park.  It is true--there are more places where you can't park than where you can.  Some things--like parking in front of someone's driveway--I always thought was inconsiderate, but it turns out to be illegal as well. So we go over parking--what is illegal and what is proper.  There is a brief mention of parking lights.  Then we talk about handicap parking, handicap placards, how to get one, the two different types, and the rules about how they are used (and the punishment for breaking them).  Want to borrow your handicapped friend's car so you can park in handicap spaces?  Think again--unless they are with you, it is considered a second degree felony. :O Here is the lesson: Here is the quiz:

Connecting Your Wii to the Internet with AT&T U-verse

Image
I made a video of this some time ago, but I had already connected my Wii...and I was afraid of revealing personal information.  So I just talked about how to do it.  The video sucked because of it. My Netflix and Amazon apps have a tendency to get persnickety every so often and refuse to connect to the internet.  I usually have to re-enter the settings, and so the last time I had to do this, I decided to take pictures.  I can use Paint to alter my pictures to prevent any information to be revealed. So I hope this is a better video, though possibly by now all Wii owners have upgraded to Wii U.  However, I'm assuming there may be some--like me--who haven't.
